The program will include exclusive site inspections of Australia’s key transport projects. Delegates will gain firsthand insights into the innovations and challenges shaping the future of Australia’s transport sector, guided by Roads Australia members who will share their expertise on project delivery, sustainability, and future plans. Proposed site visits may include (two to be chosen);
- Western Harbour Tunnel – Acciona (North Sydney) Western Harbour Tunnel will see a new motorway built underneath Sydney Harbour to connect North Sydney to Rozelle, bypassing the CBD. Stage 2 includes connections from Stage 1 at Cove Street, Birchgrove, to the Warringah Freeway near North Sydney, tunnelling under Sydney Harbour and the complete tunnel fit-out.
-  Sydney Metro - The Sydney Metro includes the Sydney Metro Northwest and the Sydney Metro City and Southwest projects. Sydney Metro is Australia’s biggest infrastructure project, comprising four metro lines, 46 stations, and 113km of new metro rail.

The project is under construction and is expected to be completed prior to the Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport opening in 2026.
