🔋 Battery storage is no longer just part of the energy transition – it is becoming a question of energy security.

New Zealand and Germany face very different challenges.

New Zealand operates a highly renewable electricity system, but relies heavily on hydropower. In dry years and periods of low hydro storage, pressure on the system rises.

Germany is rapidly expanding wind and solar – but renewable power is not always available when or where it is needed most. Grid constraints, variable generation and periods of surplus or shortfall create a growing need for flexibility.

Different systems. The same question:
How do we store renewable energy and make it available exactly when the system needs it?

That is where Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) come in.
