Skills Consulting Group and Ako Aotearoa have partnered to bring this year’s New Zealand Vocational Education and Training Research Forum (NZVETRF) to life online: Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th September 2021 (12.30pm - 5pm each day).

In its 17th year, NZVETRF is the forum where experts discuss critical issues, share research, present evidence and inform policy makers about ‘what works’ in vocational education.

This year’s Forum will center around the theme: A journey through change. The speakers and sessions will explore and discuss the Reform of Vocational Education (ROVE), the impact of COVID-19 and many other turning points from the past 12 months.

Similar to 2020, NZVETRF 2021 will be held in a state-of-the-art virtual environment, which looks just like a real-life conference and lets participants pick and choose the speakers they want to listen to – as well as network in breakout sessions and networking lounges, with people from across the industry.

Refund policy

Non-attendance: If you fail to attend the event on which you are booked without giving prior notice to Skills Consulting Group, we will be unable to refund the event fees. Cancellation of the event: Skills Consulting Group reserves the right to cancel or postpone the event at any time at its’ sole discretion. Should the event be postponed, Skills Consulting Group will make every effort to inform Event Participants of the revised date before the original planned date. Notification of a cancellation will be made at least 10 working days before the planned date. Where the event is cancelled by Skills Consulting Group, Event Participants will be entitled to a refund of 100% of the cost of the price of the ticket purchased. Cancellation, by Event Participants: All cancellations by Event Participant, must be received by Skills Consulting Group in writing and approved by Skills Consulting Group before the event starts. Cancellations: 10+ working days prior—100% refund; 6–9 working days prior—75% refund; 1–5 working days prior—50% refund; Less than 1 working day prior—No refund. Transferrable / Substitutions: Substitution of participants from the same company is permitted at any stage and will not incur a fee. Notification of the change must be in writing to Skills Consulting Group no later than 5 days prior to the event.
