Newbie Nation Find Your Teammates Social

🏐🏀⚽Newbie Nation X Just Play Find Your Teammate Social⚽🏀🏐

Basketball | Soccer | Netball

If you’ve been wanting to join a social sports team but the thought of signing up to a 12-week league with complete strangers feels a little intimidating…this is exactly what you’ve been waiting for.

Newbie Nation has teamed up with Just Play to bring you fun, no-pressure, mixed basketball, soccer and netball games where you can:

✔️ See if you actually enjoy playing
✔️ Meet like-minded people
✔️ Find teammates you’d genuinely want to join a league with

No long-term commitment. No awkward first game vibes. Just good energy, great people, and a chance to try something new.

The social will be held at Lords Recreation Centre, and if you decide you’re keen to keep the momentum going, Just Play runs leagues all across Perth, so you’ll have plenty of options. Plus, anyone who signs up to a league after the event will receive a special $20 discount off their first season.

Sessions:

• Mixed Basketball: 6:30pm - 7:30pm

• Mixed Soccer: 7:30pm - 8:30pm

• Mixed Netball: 7:45pm - 8:45pm

Session Structure:

Please arrive 10 minutes before your session start time so we can kick off on time.

We’ll start with quick introductions and a brief rules refresher before forming teams and getting straight into the game.

Teams will rotate each quarter to keep things fair, social, and fun. This will give everyone the chance to meet more people and try out different positions.

After the social, you can download the Just Play app and choose which league suits you best. Found your new teammates? Amazing! You can request to be placed together.
Didn’t quite find them? No stress at all. You can still sign up and be placed into a team with other like-minded players.

This is the perfect opportunity for:

• Beginners wanting to try social sports

• Experienced players looking for a new team

• Anyone seeking a fun way to stay active and social

• People who've been thinking about joining a league but haven't taken the leap

Whether you’re a newbie to social sports leagues, getting back into it, or simply looking to find your people, this is your sign.

Come solo. Leave with a team!
