Absolutely! Our socials are designed to help you make friends, so whether you come alone, with mates, or a date, you'll leave with a new group of friends!
- What is Surf Life Saving?
Scarboro Surf Life Saving Club is a volunteer-run community-focused organisation, dedicated to keeping local beaches safe.
The club combines fitness, ocean skills, purpose, and community. Members patrol local beaches, perform rescues, provide first aid, and help prevent drownings — all while being part of a supportive, social, and active community.
Surf Life Saving isn’t just for elite athletes. Many members join as adults with no prior experience, learning ocean skills, rescue techniques, and beach safety through structured training and hands-on practice.
Beyond the beach, the club offers a strong sense of community, regular training, social events, and opportunities to get involved in a meaningful way — all while staying active and meeting like-minded people.
If you’ve ever been curious about Surf Life Saving, this is a great chance to learn more in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
