Newcastle Shibari Class featuring special guest Rigger; Mr Tinkertrain!
Event description
Discover the Art of Shibari: Open-Ended Classes Await You!
Step into a world where artistry meets expression with our open-ended Shibari classes, held fortnightly in a welcoming local space.
What is Shibari? Shibari, the Japanese art of rope bondage, transcends mere technique to become a profound form of artistic expression and intimate connection. Whether you're a beginner or seasoned enthusiast, our classes will cater to you, fostering creativity and community in every knot and twist.
SPECIAL GUEST RIGGER:
Visiting all the way from Western Australia, we are very excited to offer a class with special guest rigger; Mr Tinkertrain! This class will be focused around hishi patterns and all things hishi. As always, beginners are still welcome and we will ensure we cater your learnings to your level and experience.
Our host: MrTinkertrain’s journey started 11 years ago on a food tour in Sri Lanka, discovering Kinbaku in an erotic book picked up by his partner. From there his obsession with Kinbaku grew into a healthy addiction. Years of workshops, private studies with national and international riggers and models, research, and travels in recent years to study in Japan, MrTinkertrain is finally comfortable sharing some of the practical knowledge he has picked up over this time.
