Newstead Arts Hub's De-Stash Market
Event description
You are invited to be a stallholder at Newstead Arts Hub's De-Stash Market on Sunday 31 August, 10am - 3pm. BOOK a stall!
As we head into spring it's a great time to clear out your 'Stash' of unused craft & art materials. Perhaps from a past pursuit, a hobby you were going to take up that never took off, or maybe your collection of art/craft materials has taken over your home!
Think textiles, thread, buttons, paints, pencils, paper, brushes, canvas, etching tools, beads, jewellery making, clay tools, ink, printmaking equipment, quilting, dressmaking, instrument making materials; any bits and bobs that can be used in other peoples' creative endeavours. We'd love to see what you've got!
Book a stall and sell what you don't need to someone who will love it and use it.
What is no longer of use to you might be just what someone else is dreaming of.
The Details
Sunday 31 August. Set up by 10am, finish at 3pm
The market will be held in the Hub's gallery spaces and on the platform, with up to 20 places for stalls. The Hub has a small number of folding tables available to stall holders who don't have their own (first to book gets first pick). The table spaces are approx 1.5 to 2m wide.
Spaces are $50, $40 for Hub members (become a member here). Make a day of it and share a table with a friend.
You can choose indoor or platform (the platform is undercover and there will be awnings and outdoor heating if necessary).
This year, the Hub will host a cake and coffee stall.
We'll be in touch in a couple of weeks to confirm your registration, answer your questions and provide more details. In the meantime, please email your questions to coordinaor@newsteadartshub.org
Get de-stashing and we'll see you in August
The fine print: this market will not include stalls offering finished craft/art pieces for sale (sign up here to be kept in the loop about our end of year Artists' Market for that kind of thing).
No shopfront businesses, either.
These stalls are for the artist, crafter, collector and dreamer.
