Event description

New South Wales Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous invites all AA and Al-Anon members to the annual convention, whereby this year's theme is "Take it Off the Wall".

You'll join us for a day of meetings focused on living a sober and happy life through the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Make new friends from everywhere and have fun while experiencing how others are working the program to live fuller, richer lives in recovery.

Registration from 9am, meetings kick off at 930am. Main program 11am to 530pm.

New South Wales Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous (NEWYPAA) was formed with the purpose of providing a setting for celebration of recovery among young people in AA to ensure AA’s future.

NEWYPAA provides visible evidence that large numbers of young people are achieving a lasting sobriety and living lives full of fun, freedom and service in Alcoholics Anonymous.

We are not a glum lot! AA members of all ages who attend NEWYPAA events return home better prepared to receive young people who come to AA looking for a better way of life.

The NEWYPAA Committee hosts an annual conference as well as other social gatherings and activities. The Committee is a group of AA members passionate about providing fellowship and hope for young people in AA.

Newcomers are shown, by people their own age, that using AA principles in their daily lives and getting involved in AA service can have a significant impact on a lasting and fun sobriety.
