Next Economy Conversations with Sarah Wilson
Event description
Small Giants Academy is excited to host a series of talks and conversations with leading thinkers across disciplines, exploring the question, “How might we reimagine our world to create the conditions for shared thriving of all of humanity and all living things?”
This conversation is with author Sarah Wilson. Join Sarah and Berry Liberman as they discuss the Meta-Crisis we are currently facing and how we can step up to shape change.
Our Guest Sarah Wilson
Sarah Wilson is a multi-New York Times and Amazon best-selling author, podcaster, thought leader, minimalist, philanthropist and climate advisor.
Sarah’s New York Times bestseller First, We Make the Beast Beautiful is described by Mark Manson as “the best book on living with anxiety that I’ve ever read” and was featured as a book of the year on NBC’s Today Show. Sarah’s most recent title, This One Wild & Precious Life, won the 2021 US Gold Nautilus Award.
In a “previous life” Sarah was the editor of Cosmopolitan Australia and host of Masterchef Australia, a News Corp journalist and opinion columnist. Sarah is known globally for founding the I Quit Sugar movement - which saw millions around the world transform their health. In 2022, Sarah sold the business and gave all proceeds to charity.
Sarah now hosts the thought-leading podcast Wild with Sarah Wilson, where she continues the conversation started in TOWPL, through deep conversations with philosophers, creatives, poets, and scientists on the big questions that haunt us.
Sarah is committed to driving a global conversation on sustainability and climate change. Her passion extends to promoting resilience, living a life of value, and leading positive change. Through her various platforms and initiatives, Sarah utilises her resources to raiseawareness and inspire action in these critical areas.
