In a hyper-connected world, reliable, high-performance networks are the foundation of everything from telehealth and autonomous vehicles to industrial robotics and artificial intelligence.

Dan Winson is CEO of Wagga-based connectivity company Zetifi, which has received funding support through the NSW Physical Sciences Fund and Small Business Innovation & Research Program.

Dan’s seminar will look at exciting developments in connectivity like Wi-Fi 7, 5G RedCap, 6G, Wi-Fi HaLow, Direct-to-Cell and LEO satellite constellations. He will also highlight how AI-driven network orchestration is set to revolutionise how we build, manage and scale communications systems. You will learn the essential role these technologies play in achieving digital inclusion so all communities benefit from the opportunities unlocked by robust connectivity.

Dan will explain how emerging wireless and satellite technologies are poised to reshape manufacturing, healthcare, education, logistics and countless other sectors. He will share real-world insights from Zetifi’s award-winning R&D, showcasing how this technology can drive growth, efficiency and inclusivity in an ever-evolving digital landscape.

Dan Winson

Dan is the founder and CEO of Zetifi, an Australian company developing advanced wireless networking solutions. Under Dan’s leadership, Zetifi has:

  • Received over $10 million in NSW and Commonwealth Government funding for R&D.
  • Secured multiple patents in wireless networking and advanced antenna system design.
  • Raised more than $12 million in investment - led by Telstra - to bring Australian designed and manufactured connectivity solutions to market globally.

With a background in engineering and innovation, Dan brings a unique, hands-on perspective to next-generation connectivity. His work blends practical deployments with technical innovation, shedding light on how these breakthrough technologies can be best applied across different industries to bridge the digital divide, unlock new economic opportunities and enhance quality of life.

BREAKFAST SEMINAR

The Science & Research Breakfast Seminar Series is held at the Strangers’ Function Room at Parliament of NSW, Sydney.

Where: Parliament of NSW. Entry is via Macquarie Street, Sydney. Guests are required to undergo routine security screening.

Time: Breakfast, tea and coffee are served from 7.30am.

The seminar starts at 8am sharp and concludes by 9am. Tea and coffee is also available afterwards.
