Event description

Crocheting granny squares is great fun, so many variations and patterns to choose from. But the next step is to join them all together, and there are many ways to achieve this.

The lovely ladies of the SACWA State Handicraft Committee will run a workshop that will teach you the 'Zig-Zag'' or Braided method to join your granny squares so that you can make a cushion, a blanket, a jacket, or a bag. Whatever you would like.

You will need:

  • at least 9 granny squares
  • yarn to co-ordinate with your squares
  • crochet hook - same size you used to crochet your squares
  • yarn needle to weave in ends

Where :

  • SACWA Mary Walker House
  • 30 Dequetteville Tce Kent Town, South Australia

When :

  • Saturday 12th April 2025
  • 9:30am till 12:30pm

Morning tea supplied.

NOTE: This is NOT a learn to crochet class, you must already know how to crochet and completed your granny squares.
