Travel instructions
Getting there by tram You can reach Brunswick Mechanics on the Route 19 tram. Coming from the city catch the Route 19 tram towards North Coburg, coming from the suburbs catch the Route 19 towards Flinders Street Station. Stop at Sydney Road and Brunswick Town Hall (stop 23) coming from the city or stop at Sydney Road and Glenlyon Road (stop 21) coming from North Coburg. The nearest wheelchair accessible tram stop is Brunswick Road/Sydney Road (stop 19), which is 800m from the venue. Please visit the Yarra Trams website to assist with your access options. Bus You can reach Brunswick Mechanics on the Route 506 bus. The route 506 bus travels from Moonee Ponds to Westgarth Station (via Brunswick) and Westgarth Station to Moonee Ponds (via Brunswick). Stop at Sydney Road/Glenlyon Road. Train You can reach Brunswick Mechanics on the Upfield Line. The venue is half-way between Jewell station and Brunswick station and is located 600m from each station. From Jewell Station travel along the shared pedestrian and bike path toward Union Street, turn right onto Union, then left at Sydney Road, then continue along Sydney Road until you reach the corner of Glenlyon. From Brunswick Station travel along the shared pedestrian and bike path towards Albert Street, turn left onto Albert Street, then right onto Sydney Road, then continue along Sydney Road until you reach the corner of Glenlyon. Car The carpark behind the venue can be accessed from David Street, however it is a permit zone from 9am – 5pm on Monday – Friday. There is limited 2-hour parking on David Street, while the nearest all day parking is on Eveline and Blair Streets. There are 2 accessible parking spaces located at the corner of David St and Glenlyon Rd, and another 2 accessible parking spaces located a little further down Glenlyon Rd, in front of the Brunswick Community Health Centre. From these parking spots you will need to travel along Glenlyon approximately 80 metres to the front entrance of Brunswick Mechanics on Sydney Road.
Entry instructions
Entry to this event is via Brunswick Mechanics Institute's main doors, located on the Sydney Road side of the building. It is a large arched doorway, which can be access via a single low step or short ramp.
Toilet location
All-gender bathrooms are located on the northern side of the building. After walking in the main entrance, go past our bar/kitchen area and turn left down a short hallway. Our bathrooms are marked with signs. There is an accessible bathroom, a bathroom with a urinal and a bathroom with stalls.
Accessible parking
There are 2 accessible parking spaces located at the corner of David St and Glenlyon Rd, and another 2 accessible parking spaces located a little further down Glenlyon Rd, in front of the Brunswick Community Health Centre. From these parking spots you will need to travel along Glenlyon approximately 80 metres to the front entrance of Brunswick Mechanics on Sydney Road.
