NEW FACULTY ORIENTATION (In-person)

Facilitators: Chi Le, Victor Arvizu & Yi Cui
This workshop will prepare participants for teaching success at the beginning of their semester. Therefore, by the end of the day participants will be able to:
Identify resources and social connections to support their teaching (i.e., eLearn & technology orientation, CTE consultations, departmental contacts? etc.).
Recognize the diverse learning needs of students.
Align high impact teaching practices to support student learning.
Identify their role in the faculty evaluation process and know where to go for support.
