Ng Tze Yong - Live in Brisbane

More Than a Match: Smashminton × Klutch Badminton Academy Exhibition

Brisbane badminton fans. This one’s for you!

Smashminton and Klutch Badminton Academy are bringing Malaysian professional Ng Tze Yong to Brisbane for a special morning of live badminton, fan experiences and on-court action.

A former World No. 14 and 2022 Commonwealth Games silver medallist, Tze Yong has competed against some of the biggest names in international badminton, including a memorable win over World No. 1 Viktor Axelsen at the All England Championships.

Now Brisbane fans have the rare opportunity to see him play up close at Smashminton, not through a screen, but just metres from the court.

Tze Yong will be joined by Keith Edison, Head Coach of Klutch Badminton Academy, a long-time Brisbane local and former professional player, alongside current Australian national players.

Expect a morning of competitive badminton, team battles and interactive fan experiences designed to bring players and fans closer to the action.
