Event description

A series of 60 minute free online wellbeing webinar workshop for not-for profits.

Ngahere for Teams is a programme of four online workshops designed to help participants develop holistic wellbeing practices for their teams and the systems they are in, to build skills and practices for restorative systems change work. The workshops will explore: the importance of wellbeing in self, team and system; how connectivity enables wellbeing; and how to ground and nourish the team through a greater connection to Papatūānuku. Ngahere for Teams extends the Ngahere personal wellbeing programme, created by Centre for Social Impact associates Tuihana Ohia and Louise Marra, to give people working in the not-for-profit sector some insights and tools to use to nurture and care for themselves and those around them.

The title, Ngahere, is a kupu often associated with the forest in Aotearoa. It is also used to describe the hononga, connection, from us to Papatūānuku, Ranginui and the various atua. The workshop will help participants build a deeper connection with their body wisdom and the collective wisdom of the team, and support team wellbeing and connectivity.

Each Ngahere for Teams workshop is a self-contained module. You are welcome to join us for any or all of the sessions, but we encourage you to join us for all four sessions if possible.
