This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Holt Micro-Forest and Food forest volunteers and supporters are invited to join us for this Bush Food and Indigenous Culture workshop facilitated by Tyronne Bell of Thunderstone Aboriginal Cultural Services and Adam Shipp of Yurbay.

This workshop provides an opportunity for supporters and volunteers to learn about and sample some of the native bush food plants that will be incorporated into our Food Forest and Micro-Forest.

This workshop is another step in building our community understanding and appreciation of the knowledge and skills of the Traditional Custodians of the land, and educating ourselves about the plants within our park.

This workshop is targeted at community members who are active supporters and volunteers in the Food Forest and Micro-Forest (or who intend to be in the near future), who have a genuine interest and commitment to incorporating Ngunawal language and Indigenous cultural into our activities.

This workshop is best suited for those who would like to commit time and effort into our ongoing community journey here in Holt.
