Ngunguru School Lights - Northern Lights Festival

The local Ngunguru School have been busy this term creating an array of light art hubs that will be on display for the public to view over the festival.

Each class is designing their own unique art work to add to a collection of 5 different hubs.

The school has long celebrated Matariki with lantern making and story night around a bonfire. This year they have taken it to the next level!

This installation will only be open during the weekends so it doesn’t affect their school time. Make sure you grab a ticket to head along.

This is a not-for-profit, community run festival. Grab a free ticket for you and your whanau or choose to give a little extra if you can! There will be an opportunity to give koha on the night too.
