NHMRC Investitgator Grant Winners Showcase
Event description
At the heart of our research excellence is a shared commitment to create a real impact by focusing on outcome-driven research that generates health benefits for both the individual and the community. That’s the power of our partnership.
This is why the Alfred Research Alliance is proud to present a special event where we are inviting some of the recent recipients of a National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) investigator grant to showcase their winning research.
Twenty-one researchers from across the Alliance precinct have been granted $42.9 million in NHMRC Grant funding to help solve some of the nation's greatest health challenges.
The (NHMRC) Investigator Grant Scheme provides five years of funding for high-performing health and medical researchers at all career stages. The grants are designed to give recipients the flexibility to develop their research, form collaborations, and pursue new research directions as they arise.
More opportunities to provide our researchers with the platform to share their research with fellow research colleagues working on this site is a priority for the Alfred Research Alliance.
Come along to learn, listen, and celebrate as we discuss some of the projects awarded this recent funding in more detail.
