Online Workshop: NHMRC Review of Statement on Consumer and Community Involvement in Health and Medical Research

NSW Regional Health Partners and the Australian Health Research Alliance are working with the National Health and Medical Research Council to review their statement on Consumer and Community Involvement in Health and Medical Research (the Statement).

The Statement was originally developed in 2006 and last updated in 2016. It aims to support consumer and community involvement across all types and levels of health and medical research. This review will ensure the Statement remains a trusted resource providing national leadership and overarching guidance to support consumer and community involvement in health and medical research. The Statement will be reframed to focus on the principles and values of consumer and community involvement and the roles and responsibilities of all involved.
