A Multi-Sensory Evening with Nicola Bennett & Chef Chris Scott

Central Otago abstract painter Nicola Bennett brings her passion for food, flavour, and creativity to Sherwood, in a unique collaboration with our executive chef Chris Scott. Together, they’ll showcase the best of autumn’s bounty—feijoas, hazelnuts, pumpkin, and oyster mushrooms—through an evening designed to engage all the senses.

Nicola, a full-time artist with gallery representation and years of teaching experience, will guide you through playful, non-representational drawing exercises—no experience required! It’s all about connecting with the ingredients in a fun, experimental way.

Evening Schedule:

• 5:30 PM – Drinks & nibbles

• 6:00 PM – Drawing workshop (no experience needed; all materials provided)

• 7:30 PM – Sit down to a seasonal feast featuring the ingredients you’ve just explored

Tickets: $65 per person, includes workshop, materials, snacks, and a drink.
