Renowned vocal leader and soulful songstress Shelly Brown is launching her much-loved Night Brunch Choir at the Lennox Head Hotel, upstairs in the Function Room, on the first Thursday of every month.

A vibrant, joy-filled singing experience, Night Brunch Choir blends contemporary soul, four-part gospel harmony, Hawaiian song and dance, and local folk traditions—all led with Shelly’s signature warmth and 20+ years of teaching expertise.

Expect vocal warmups, community connection, and the freedom to express, improvise, and shine in a safe, supportive space. Whether you're a seasoned singer or a curious beginner, this is your invitation to explore your voice and feel the joy of harmony.

Questions you might ask:

What sort of Music will it be? We will sing some Gospel, Folk, Pacific Island and Soul Music. 

Will it be like Brunch Choir? Yes, but also no, but kinda, but also no, but a little bit. 

Do I need to be able to read sheet music? No. There will sometimes be sheet music, and lyric sheets, but it's not essential. 

Is there an Audition? No. All Welcome. Drop in's are welcome. 

Can I bring my child? I'd love you to bring your child human if they want to sing and be engaged in the choir.

Can I bring my dog/cat/rabbit? It would be preferable to not bring your pet. 

What's on after the Choir? There's is the Lennox Hotel Jam Night on Thursday Nights at the Pub.
