NIGHT IN BETHLEHEM - GOLD COAST

Join us with family or friends for a truly magical and completely free Christmas event from 3pm to 8pm, on Saturday December 7 and Sunday December 8.

The vision for Night in Bethlehem Gold Coast is a seemingly simple one: to create a traditional looking village like you may have found in Bethlehem more than 2000 years ago – all for FREE, where visitors will taste, touch, see, smell and truly experience what life could have been like on that sacred, holy night with wise men, donkeys and one very special baby.

Guests can expect to feel and experience something different at Night in Bethlehem – Gold Coast.

The free event will be split into two parts. Please book a ticket for the live musical nativity so you don't miss out.

INTERACTIVE POP-UP VILLAGE (Visit this before or after the live musical nativity show.)
The main village street will recreate an ancient community feel where goats and chickens roam amongst villagers and publicans alike. Have a go at learning a Hebrew dance, learn the children’s game of dreidel, walk down the laneway and learn the carpenter’s art of whittling or have a go at embossing at leather school. Kids will enjoy dressing up during story time and cinching a light pot at the pottery booth, before painting at the star David booth. Although watch out for the raucous centurions running the place – you’ll want to stay on their good side!

LIVE MUSICAL NATIVITY. (Four 20 minute live nativity musical shows per night, but must book tickets. Please allow up to one hour before/after your booked time slot to visit the Bethlehem village either before or after the live musical nativity show ). 
After the fun of the outdoor Bethlehem pop up village, wander inside the comfort of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints chapel and enjoy a serene live musical nativity. With several shows on each evening, the show is a great way to kick off the Christmas season with a spectacular musical experience showcasing angels, wise men, Mary and Joseph and of course baby Jesus.

HOW TO BOOK
Live Musical Nativity - please prebook ticket for one of 4 nightly shows. The time you book is the actual start of the indoor live musical nativity. Please be seated 10 mins prior.  Be sure to also allow up to one hour either before or after to roam and experience the outdoor Bethlehem village.

Tickets: Night in Bethlehem Gold Coast is free, but tickets should be booked via Humanitix to secure a preferred timeslot for the live musical nativity. 
Walk-ins accepted but priority given to those with prebooked tickets.
