  • A minimum upfront payment is required to secure your order. This includes a surcharge, a non-refundable cancellation fee, and a refundable deposit.
  • You’ll receive a notification before each payment attempt. You must ensure sufficient funds are available.

Event description

Where: Manhattan Kayak Boathouse (555 12th Ave Pier 84) 
Date: Tuesday, August 12th
Time: There are two trips scheduled, allowing you to choose your ambience. Please only book one trip! 
Sunset – Invigorating hues @7:00 PM
Night – City lights after dark @8:00 PM

Get on the wide-open water without crowds and see the Empire State Building, Times Square, Hudson Yards, and more. Whether you’re celebrating something—or just escaping your screen—it’s more fun than a boat ride and way cooler than an escape room.

The kayak trips include a short instruction on land, a 60 minute trip on the water, gear included, and great photo opps. You do not need any experience to attend. You can choose to be in a kayak on your own or to share a double kayak with a partner!

Everyone is responsible for their own transportation. 

Cost:
     - NYULH Postdocs: $20 
     - Guests: $40 (Limit: 1 guest per postdoc; purchase ticket separately. No children, no dogs.)

What to bring?:

  • Gym/ quick-dry clothes + full change for after your journey

  • Water shoes or old sneakers

  • Water bottle and lock (or rent one)
