SBEA Night Walk at Mt Rothwell
Event description
Everyone is welcome to join us for a guided night walk around the stunning slopes of Mt Rothwell. We are likely to meet many of the nocturnal inhabitants of this precious place including: Brush-tailed Possum, Ring-tailed Possum, Rufous Bettong, Long Nosed Potoroo, Southern Brown Bandicoot, Eastern Barred Bandicoot (extinct in the wild), Eastern Quoll (extinct in the wild) and Barn Owl.
A walk around this property often feels like stepping back in time. So much to see and think about.
We will send out more info (including how to get there - it is a 75 minute drive from Queenscliff) in the week leading up to the event.
We are also running Nature Art at Mt Rothwell with Visual Artist Sue Anderson earlier in the day.
