Create your own beautiful Nikau Platter while learning the basics of power tools.
In this workshop, you’ll work with reclaimed native timber to craft a stunning Nikau Platter. Learn safe woodworking techniques and add your own personal touch by painting or engraving with a soldering iron.
Ideal for beginners or anyone interested in sustainable, functional design, and you’ll get to take your unique creation home.
The day starts with a health and safety briefing before tool use.
Tools covered include jigsaw, power drill, and sander and Soldering iron.
Please wear covered shoes and fitted clothing.
Some activities may be outdoors, so dress for the weather.
Children cannot attend due to safety rules.
Arrive on time for the safety briefing to join the workshop.
