September Jazz Jam at The Barn with NJCBB

Our monthly Jazz Club Nights are the first Thursday of the month, held at The Barn, behind the Honest Lawyer at 1 Point Road, Stoke.

In September, our Guest band is our own Nelson Jazz Club Big Band. They will perform for about an hour and then open the floor for you to join them.

Bring your own instrument, use the rhythm section's instruments, or come sing.

Jam charts are set, and Graham the MD will explain chart layout before each tune:

·         C Jam Blues - Instrumental

·         Green Onions - Instrumental

·         Night and Day - Vocal

·         All Of Me - Vocal

·         Sweet Home Chicago – Instrumental but open to vocals

·         Walkin' - Instrumental

Our aim is to increase performance space and diversity of jazz within our community. We also seek to foster a greater appreciation of jazz and expand our local jazz community.

Nelson Jazz Club Members will have a discounted entry to each Club Night.
