NLNL Hurstbridge - WEEK TWO - Tweens & Teens Family Disco

The NLNL Hurstbridge school holiday family disco is back!

There are two opportunities these holidays, to take a dance break with the children in your life, each suited to a different age group.

This event is for children aged 10+ and their parents/guardians. 

TIP: Do you have younger children, book in for week one instead, which is an all ages disco geared at younger children.

Ticket Details:

Please purchase entry for all attendees (including adults). Parents/guardians are not required to attend, but are welcome to participate if permitted by their children!

(This is not an event for adults to attend on their own. If you don't have anyone to bring along, please join us at one of our regular sessions during term time for the authentic NLNL experience!)

Entry includes pizza & lemonade (from Hurstbridge Pizza and Pasta, please email NLNL Hurstbridge if you have dietary requirements such as gluten or diary free).

Tickets are fully refundable, less the booking fee. 

Please note, these sessions are intended for both adults and older children to enjoy an hour of dance joy together! No spectators please... dancers only! 

Please enter via the front foyer to have your name checked off and to collect one free pass to a regular NLNL 'dancing in the dark' session, valid for term 4. This is a thank you for booking and incurring a booking fee.


Tip: Sound levels are kept to a safe level, however you may wish to bring hearing protection for sensitive ears and those who may feel overwhelmed.




THE SESSION:

This one is for the children aged 10+ Parents are welcome to attend (with their child’s permission), but you are also welcome to drop your child off. This is a great way for tweens and teens to spend some time with their friends, but children attending on their own will be looked after, by some very friendly tweens.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: A judgement free space for tweens and teens to sing and dance, with their parents or friends. More like a party vibe, than a blue light disco. I provide a speaker, party lights, microphone for sing-a-longs and ribbons for twirling (more fun than it sounds). You are encouraged to dress for dancing and partying, whatever that means to you!

The playlist will consist 100% requests. Get your song requests in with your booking or enter your song requests in the lucky dip on the night.

I have a current Working with children check, there will be a qualified first aider on site, and the foyer will be supervised to ensure children stay in the hall at all times. I’m aiming to provide an experience for older children, so please contact me if you have younger siblings who wish to attend, and we can decide whether it will work.
