A Night At The Movies
Description
This is more than just a choir concert — it’s a musical journey through the movies!
Join Nelson Male Voice Choir at the Suter Cinema for a unique concert celebrating the powerful connection between choral music and the silver screen.
Enjoy much-loved favourites, including Nella Fantasia (The Mission), Moon River (Breakfast at Tiffanys), and Over the Rainbow (The Wizard of Oz), alongside unexpected musical surprises, such as Mozart’s dramatic Dies Irae, famously featured in film soundtracks.
Under the expert direction of Rosemary Galton, whose musical leadership brings out the best in the choir, and accompanied by the exceptionally talented Louis Lucas-Perry on piano, this concert showcases the choir’s versatility across a wide range of musical styles. Together, their musical artistry brings familiar movie moments to life through the richness and power of male voice singing.
The intimate setting of the Suter Cinema creates a special connection between performers and audience, making this a concert experience to remember.
