Every match starts where most tournaments finish - THE DECIDING FRAME.

NO MERCY is a fast, high-pressure pool tournament built around one simple idea: Pressure.

There are no races to settle into. No bad first frame followed by “I'll get the next one.” From the moment you shake hands, you are hill-hill.

🎱 TOURNAMENT FORMAT

• Entry: $50 + Humanitix booking fee ($3.29)

• Format: One frame matches

• Elimination: Double elimination

• Draw: Blind draw

• Break: Lag for break every match

• Prize: Winner takes all

Every player begins the tournament with two lives.

Lose your first match and you move into the losers' side of the draw. Lose again and your tournament is over.

Keep winning until nobody else is left...and you take the lot.

📅 EVENT DETAILS

Date: Saturday, 3rd October 2026

Time: Players should arrive by 9:30am so they can be checked in, specifics of the competition explained and have a quick hit to loosen up before the opening match. 10am is the opening frame and all players need to be checked in before then.

Venue: West Australian Eightball Federation, Cnr or George and Centre Street, Cannington WA

🎟️ REGISTRATION

Entry is $50 per player, (plus the small Humanitix booking fee).

Your place is not secured by commenting on Facebook, messaging the organiser or expressing interest.

Registration and payment through Humanitix confirms your entry and needs to be done no later than close of business (5pm) the day before the competition so the draw can be done ready for the following day. This is to ensure no issues with PoolStat on the day.

💰 WINNER TAKES ALL

Every $50 player entry goes directly into the prize pool.

• 16 players → $800

• 32 players → $1,600

• 48 players → $2,400

• 64 players → $3,200

There is no second-place prize. One winner takes the entire prize pool.

A quick note on the booking fee

You will notice a small Humanitix booked fee of approximately $3.29 added to your $50 entry. Humanitix is a registered charity and not-for-profit ticketing platform. The booking fee covers thinks like payment processing, running the platform and event services, and 100% of the profits Humanitix makes from booking fees are donated to charities. Those profits help fund projects across education, healthcare, poverty alleviation, food security, and other areas of social impact. So while no one enjoys paying a booking fee, at least this is helping do some good in the world. Plus, it makes my life a lot easier in managing the entrants and fees.

🔥 THE RETURN

There's one twist to this comp. If you lose the lag and your opponent masters you from the break without you receiving a visit, you get the opportunity to try to return it.

Fresh rack, your break (no lag needed).

One visit - clear the table and pot the black in that visit - you've returned the master.

The match then goes to a sudden-death frame to determine the winner.

BUT, if in your attempt to Return (Master them back), you lose as soon as the master is no longer active. I.e. Don't sink a ball off the break or miss a ball/foul in your attempt at clearing the table.

Note - The opportunity to Return only applies to a Master Break, not a master visit.

👀 THE OPENING MATCH

NO MERCY will begin differently. Every entrant will be required to watch the opening match.

Before matches begin across the venue, the entire field will gather around the feature table. The purpose of this is too increase the pressure of what already is a high-pressure environment. Plus, it will make for an epic atmosphere.

You will feel the pressure of your peers watching every shot.

Once the opening match is finished...we let everyone loose.

🎙️ COMMENTARY, LIVE STREAM & LIVE RESULTS

There will be livestream and commentary from the opening frame right through to the final.

The tournament will be run through PoolStat, allowing the draw and tournament results to be updated live throughout the competition.

This isn't designed to replace traditional pool tournaments.

It's something different.

Fast. Unforgiving. Unpredictable.

You might draw one of WA's best players.

Good, you don't have to beat them in a race to 7.

You have to beat them once.
