Event description

Are you not 'feeling like yourself'? Is sleep hard to find, or your body's suddenly unrecognisable and letting you down? Hormones underpin mental & emotional wellbeing, our brain health, physical energy & relationships - they affect the whole of a woman's body, not just periods. Do you need clear, factual and real information about your own health? Are you wanting to ensure you are prepared in your 20s and 30s for a stronger life? Women in Regional Areas of Australia never get the opportunity to tap into specialist expert advice, that's why we are bringing a team of world-renowned experts to FNQ, so women get to learn, ask questions, hear real scientific facts and empower themselves to navigate and thrive in perimenopause, menopause and well beyond. Facilitating the workshop will be Jacqueline Pascarl OAM, MASHA, CMHS, HOSM, SMT, Sleep & Menopause Expert, international bestselling author. A much respected humanitarian (she headed up Operation Angel's national response to Cyclone Yasi on the Cassowary Coast), resilience expert, documentary film maker, TV presenter & magazine columnist, along with The Snore Fix Doctor, Dr Ian Maratos, the expert in Sleep, Snoring and Apnoea. Special guests & surprise appearances: featuring a special interview with Emeritus Professor Dr Michael J Bennett, former Head of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, University of New South Wales & Royal Hospital for Women, Randwick, Sydney - he is known as a Titan of reproductive health and common sense "no BS".

TV personality and respected Criminal Psychologist, Tim Watson-Munro - Sunrise regular and A Current Affair and presenter of ratings hit podcast, Motive and Method, will be joining us onstage to discuss Resilience along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mood management.

Coach Amy from LiftHer Gym, Port Douglas, will be offering practical advice on Osteoporosis prevention & strength, and Petra Kupkova from Yoga in the Tropics Port Douglas will be contributing tips on flexibility and balance to ensure women keep their mobility and dignity.

Remember, this is it: NO MORE REHEARSALS! Just like life.
