Event description

Technology can be an amazing tool for enriching learning in early childhood environments. But too often we worry that the use of technology will compromise children’s well-being and learning. In this workshop we will examine the recommendations for ’screen time’, technology connections with the Early Years Learning Framework, and how technology can be used for a tool of collaboration, problem solving and exploration. This workshop draws on the Early Childhood Australia statement of young children and digital technologies and research from the University of Wollongong.
