No New Normal: A Docu-Concert Film
Event description
Rocking & Rolling Steady in Uncertain Times
Experience the world premiere of No New Normal, a groundbreaking docu-concert film that captures an extraordinary moment in music history. Directed by Alejandro Ordoñez, this film takes you on a journey through two unforgettable nights at the end of the COVID-19 lockdown. Legendary Joshua Tree bands earthlings? and Mojave Lords reunited after two years to rehearse, perform, and bring life back to the stage during the hottest weekend of the year.
Night one unfolded at the iconic Indian Cove Amphitheater inside Joshua Tree National Park, a benefit concert for the Joshua Tree National Park Association. The second night brought the magic home to Pioneertown's beloved saloon, Pappy & Harriet's. Both electrifying performances were captured in stunning detail by cinematographers Martin Moody and Will Stockwell, with world-renowned FOH engineer Hutch ensuring impeccable sound.
Presented by Rancho de La Luna Media in association with Absurdity Media, Raubtier Productions, and Spotless Films, the film features Executive Producers David Catching, William McGuigan, Alejandro Ordoñez, Bingo Richey, and Bryan Robbins.
