MAA International and ActionAid are proud to present a special community screening of No Other Land: the Academy Award winning documentary capturing the lives of Palestinians living under occupation in the West Bank.
Join us for an evening of solidarity: bearing witness to their struggle, reflecting on resilience, and exploring how we can take the consistent and necessary action needed to drive meaningful political change.
These screenings carry an even deeper meaning for us. Before his tragic murder by the IDF, we were in talks to bring Palestinian activist Awda Hathaleen to Australia to share his voice alongside this film. His murder by the IDF is a painful reminder of the urgency behind this story.
Following the film, a panel discussion with community leaders, scholars and sheikhs will dive into practical ways we can take both individual and collective action to better support Australian organisations and activists leading the movement to see a free and independent Palestine - in our lifetimes.
