'NO OTHER LAND' + DEBRIEF

NO OTHER LAND is a documentary that deserves a wide audience. 

Not just because it won an Oscar a few weeks ago...but because the documentary gives us a much deeper understanding of the very real Palestinian struggle. 

I recently watched the documentary while in Canberra and thankfully had organised a debriefing session afterwards.

I can't imagine going directly from watching the raw footage to stepping right back into my day to day life.

I suspect that most people would feel the same, and that's why I've organised for us to be able to meet together to debrief after the viewing. 

The wonderful people at RUMI restaurant have agreed to let us use their beautiful function room and we can then order from their ROCKET SOCIETY menu.

It's about a 30 second walk from FOMO cinema at Brunswick East Village. (Yes, there's parking underneath)

It will be a very informal discussion, depending on how many people come along. There is absolutely no pressure to say anything, and you are very welcome to just sit and listen if that feels more comfortable.

My intention for this is to be an awareness-raiser...not a fund-raiser. But if there are any extra $ made...I will donate those to para.org.au (Palestine Australia Relief and Action)

We are going through a very dark chapter of history, and if nothing else, it will be wonderful to meet with others who are also feeling helpless.
