Noongar Art Trail in the Town of Vic Park

Join Noongar artist and cultural advisor Justin Martin on a tour of Victoria Park’s much-loved collection of artworks by Noongar artists. Town of Victoria Park is home to two significant collections of artworks by Noongar artists, at Chevron Parklands at Optus Stadium, and the recently commissioned works at newly opened Boorloo Bridge.
Join Justin as he speaks to the cultural significance of the artworks to their locations. This is an opportunity to deepen your understanding of Noongar culture and these valuable public artworks.
The Boorloo Bridge collection features work by Noongar artists Justin Martin, Lea Taylor, Jodie Riley, and Rubeun Yorkshire.
The Chevron Parklands at Optus Stadium collection features work by Noongar artists Barry McGuire, Jade Dolman, Laurel Nannup, (Djinda Kaal) Fiona Reidy, Farmer Design Team, Kylie Graham, Tjyllyungoo Lance Chad, Sharyn Egan, Norma McDonald, and Sandra Hill.
Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, a hat and sun protection, and your own water.
When selecting tickets please note:
- Saturday 29th March at 1pm = Stadium Art tour
- Saturday 29th March at 4.30pm = Boorloo Bridge art tour
- Saturday 5th April at 10am = Boorloo Bridge art tour
- Saturday 5th April at 1pm = Stadium Art tour
Boorloo Bridge Artwork Tours will start and finish from McCallum Park. Please meet Justin at the foot of the bridge on the Vic Park side
Optus Stadium Artwork Tours will start and finish from Matagarup Bridge. Please meet Justin at the Nicky Winmar statue.
