Karen Lee Andrews is back, and she’s bringing the heat with Survival, an album dripping in soul, blues, and raw storytelling. Dropped on February 21st, 2025, this eight-track masterpiece cements Andrews as a powerhouse in the blues scene. Born and raised in Wollongong, she channels the grit of the Mississippi Delta and the warmth of her Polynesian roots, creating a sound that’s both classic and fresh.
Moebius with Sarah Grant
Moebius serves as Sarah Grant’s creative outlet, allowing her to delve into heartfelt stories of love, loss, resilience, and personal growth. The band's music is a reflection of universal experiences, set to rhythms that compel both movement and introspection. Their sound seamlessly weaves elements of rock and pop, creating a sonic landscape that is both familiar and refreshingly unique.
Fenn Wilson
Fenn is mesmerising on stage, either solo or surrounded by his skilled and sensitive sidemen, creating thunderstorm dynamics reminiscent of Jeff Buckley.
His songcraft is astounding; echoes of Nick Drake Mark Lanegan and Radio Head filter through his faultless guitar rhythms and cunning doubling of vocal melodies. Memorable hooks abound, without a trace of gimmick or cliché. And then there’s Fenn’s voice.
