In response to environmental breaches, budget blowouts, design issues and unresolved disputes, Council has now taken possession of the site and is committing to a fresh direction.

This includes:

* Making the site safe and stable
* Reassessing the option of natural turf over synthetic
* Undertaking an independent investigation into the project

Join us for an important Community Town Hall on Tuesday 10th June as we discuss how Ku-ring-gai can lead the way in building climate-resilient, high-quality sporting fields.

At the Town Hall meeting, you will learn about the NSW Government’s new Best-Practice Guidelines for Sporting Fields, hear expert insights from the latest reports on Best Practice Sports Fields and get an update on the Norman Griffiths Oval Project.

    • Key insights from the NSW Govt’s Best-Practice Guidelines for Sporting Fields
    • Key findings on natural turf management and opportunities for improvement
