Help build stronger communities and support each other to take action on climate change.

This conference will bring together community organisations, school groups, emergency service workers and traditional owners to share the most up to date strategies and actions for reducing emissions and keeping our communities safe in the face of climate change.

Featuring a special guest key note address by Professor Bruce Pascoe.

Victorian Traditional Owners Fire Strategy and examples of how cultural burns can help prevent bushfires. Hear about how you can get involved in volunteering for the SES, CFA, and Fire Services Australia.

Community-led initiatives to reduce emissions and act on climate change. Grass roots community groups are playing a crucial role in connecting our communities and advocate for meaningful action on climate change.   

Organised by Hume City Council, Moreland Council, City of Whittlesea, Brimbank City Council, Moonee Valley Council, Maribyrnong City Council and Hobsons Bay City Council, with support from the Northern Alliance for Greenhouse Action, CERES and Environment Education Victoria.
