Northwest Communities for Climate Action Online School Summit
School groups from Grade 5 to year 12 are invited to participate via zoom in the North west communities for climate action online schools summit.
- Learn about what other schools are doing to reduce greenhouse emissions and take action for the climate
- Meet your local councillors and council staff, share your environmental concerns and make suggestions/recommendations to Council
- Get inspired to take action in your school and local community
- Logon to the session as a class, via zoom.
- Teacher preparation (optional) Civics | Local Government: Local government services and 'Joining In' (curriculum.edu.au)

Time: 9.20am – 1pm
Zoom link will be emailed to registered teachers two weeks before the event.
Organised by Hume City Council, Moreland Council, City of Whittlesea, Brimbank City Council, Moonee Valley Council, Maribyrnong City Council and Hobsons Bay City Council, with support from CERES.
