Northcliffe Genestreaming Journey Sculpture Launch
Event description
Bringing culture, science biodiversity & art together
The Genestreaming Journey Sculpture is coming to the Northcliffe Information & Visitor Centre. This unique public artwork, a proud part of the Genestreaming Journeys Sculpture Trail, which runs through Australia's South West and Great Southern regions, is a breathtaking fusion of art, science, and conservation, designed to connect people with the Tree of Life, celebrate First Nations knowledge, and inspire action for our environment. This sculpture marks the first installation in the new Understory Garden Gallery, a significant step forward in the establishment of this up and coming cultural tourism attraction.
Join us on Saturday 8 March from 10am for the official launch and experience this powerful installation first-hand. The sculpture’s intricate design blends First Nations art on the exterior with scientific illustrations of local ecosystems on the interior, making it both a visual masterpiece and an educational tool.
