Northcote Red Tent - Birth Stories - 31/10/2020

The way we are born has an immense impact on our lives forever. 

Our birthing imprint (our journey into the world) influences our psycies throughout all of our other major life thresholds. 

In this month's Northcote Red Tent Sharing circle we are inviting in our birthing stories. 

Your own birth story and/or those of your children. 

A circle for mums to be, new mums, old mums and for daughters (as we all are) to share the story of how we took our first breath. 

We shall have wonderful sister of Northcote Red Tent, Lara Chapman, come and share with us her experience as a midwife at the royal womens hospital and her perspective on birthing in current times. 

When we sit together in circle we always have a central altar, in this time of distance we invite you to bring a picture of your personal altar celebrating new life (including ultrasound images or photos of yourself as a baby). 

We will host this at the mum friendly time of 3pm on Saturday Afternoon, on the eve on the full moon. 

The full moon or pregnant moon is all about Creative expression, the fullness of life and fertility. As we are in spring and new life bursts all around us we hope to activate this energy in our circle.
