What to expect

This free jobs and careers expo is brought to you in partnership with City of Playford and Workforce Australia - Local Jobs Program Adelaide North. Thank you to our sponsors and supporters for collaborating with us to create an exciting, interactive day where you'll find jobs, career pathways and everything in between. A special thanks to our Platinum Sponsors, Status and Pivot.

Northern Adelaide Jobs and Careers Expo is designed to help connect job seekers with potential local employers and provide school leavers and secondary students with information regarding career pathways. This event has been developed to inspire you, help improve your job seeking skills and knowledge about local businesses, emerging industries and training options.

On the day there will be panel discussions with industry experts You will also be able to seek help with resumes, how to meet people and find contacts in your industry. There will even be a jobs board with hundreds of jobs available.

Food, coffee and refreshments will be available for purchase and please make yourself aware of transport opportunities available.

To support our attendees to gain valuable information and insight into career opportunities and pathways, we will have 3 panel discussions throughout the day. The panel discussions will take place in Shedley Theatre, located within the Playford Civic Centre.

Open the Door - Experience that Leads to Work

Photography, video and social media will be undertaken at the event for marketing purposes. Please let the photographer know if you do not wish to have your photo taken.

FAQs


Q How do I get there? and where can I park?

A. The Playford Civic Centre is located at 10 Playford Boulevard, Elizabeth and is less than 30 minutes from the Adelaide CBD and just five minutes from Salisbury via the Gawler railway line.
Parking is available in the Elizabeth Shopping Centre, adjacent to the Civic Centre, or in the Windsor Carpark, on the corner of Main North Road, and Philip Highway.

Public transport:
If catching the train to the venue, the closest stop is the Elizabeth station, which is also an interchange. It is then a 12 minute walk to the Playford Civic Centre.
