Northern Adelaide Small Business Sustainability Support Workshop - 6 November

The Office for Small and Family Business is pleased to invite you to the small business sustainability workshop, delivered by local sustainability consultants 2XE and with the support of the City of Salisbury, the Polaris Centre, and the City of Playford.

Cost pressures and the increasing importance of sustainability to customers make it crucial to act now to adapt, grow, and succeed in a net zero future.

For business operators looking to expand their knowledge of environmental sustainability, understand its connection to their business, and enhance their ability to adopt sustainable practices and reduce emissions, now is the time to secure your spot.

Those attending the workshop will take away:

• An increased understanding of how they can address environmental sustainability issues.
• A deeper understanding of emissions reduction and sustainability options for their business.
• An improved ability to access and understand data sources for emissions.

Following the workshop, participants will also have the opportunity for a 1-1 consultation to review their specific technologies and how these operate within the context of their business environment.

This workshop provides an opportunity to discuss the recently launched $20m energy efficiency program.  Administered by the Office for Small and Family Business, the Small Business Energy Efficiency Grants Program provides matched funding of between $2,500 - $50,000 to support businesses to:

• adopt more energy-efficient practices
• provide environmentally friendly products and services
• reduce and manage waste
• implement new technologies and processes.

This event is open to South Australian operators with less than 20 full time equivalent employees, or family-owned businesses of any size which have not participated in any other South Australian Government programs focusing on environmental, net zero, circular economy and other sustainable business practices.
