Meet the Founders & Pioneers of Australia’s Hemp Industry
Join an immersive, hands-on experience exploring the people and projects shaping Australia’s industrial hemp sector. Meet growers, manufacturers, builders, retailers and farmers, take part in practical workshops, and visit working examples of hemp construction.
The program features talks from established hemp manufacturers, builders & growers who will share their journeys, lessons learned, and insights into building sustainable hemp-based businesses in Australia.
Sessions hosted by a local hemp retail space will explore the development of purpose-led hemp stores, showcasing a wide range of hemp-based products, including cosmetics, clothing, self-care, and general wares, all selected with sustainability at the core.
Participants will visit hemp homes in the region, designed and built using hemp, with a focus on healthy, low-carbon living, environmental responsibility, and high-quality craftsmanship.
The day also includes an interactive hempcrete mixing demonstration and technical discussion covering hurd sourcing, processing partnerships, and real-world construction projects, followed by Q&A and open discussion.
This event is designed to support knowledge sharing, industry connection, and the continued growth of Australia’s industrial hemp sector.
