Travel instructions

The Copthorne Hotel & Resort Bay of Islands is located on Tau Henare Drive, Waitangi, adjacent to the historic Waitangi Treaty Grounds and just a short distance from Paihia town centre. By Car: Travelling from the south, follow SH1 to Kawakawa, then take SH11 to Paihia and Waitangi. The venue is located on Tau Henare Drive, Waitangi, adjacent to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. By Bus: InterCity coach services operate to Paihia. From the Paihia bus stop, the venue is approximately 2 km away and can be reached by taxi or local transport.

Entry instructions

Upon arrival at Copthorne Hotel & Resort Bay of Islands, guests may enter either through the hotel's main entrance and proceed right to Treaty Rooms 1 & 2, or directly through the Conference Centre entrance adjacent to Treaty Rooms 1 & 2.

After entry instructions

The event will be well signposted throughout the venue to assist guests upon arrival. The main hotel entrance is wheelchair accessible and provides convenient access to the event space.

Hazards

Guests using the Conference Centre entrance are asked to take care, as there are steps leading to the entrance access to Treaty Rooms 1 & 2.

Toilet location

Toilets are conveniently located between the main reception entrance and Treaty Rooms 1 & 2 and are wheelchair accessible.
