    Event description

This training workshop is about coming together on the challenges of housing, energy, cost of living and acting for our communities in the Northern Sydney area, now and in the future.

Sydney Alliance invites you to come along on:

    WHEN: Wednesday 4 October

WHERE: Our Lady of Dolours Catholic Church, Chatswood.

The HEAT (Housing and Energy Alliance team) training provides a space for people in your community to share common experiences about these important issues, getting practical information to alleviate cost of living pressures and organise solutions for your community.

This 2 hour workshop includes information about housing and energy issues.

You will be hearing from Our Lady of Dolours Parish, North Shore Temple Emanuel, Shelter NSW, Sydney Community Forum, Vinnies NSW, and local community leaders.

After the workshop, you are invited to become involved with the HEAT campaign and take action for positive change in your community.

      Who are we:

The Sydney Alliance is a diverse, non-partisan coalition of community organisations, religious organisations, unions, and schools that uses the tools of community organising for the common good - to make Sydney a more just, fair and sustainable city.
