NoSurf is taking over Oceanside's coolest listening bar, Sound by the Sea, for a day of live music, familiar faces, and semi-functional behavior.
We're keeping this one small on purpose.
Four emerging bands, DJs spinning throughout the day, and the kind of intimacy where you're close enough to see the sweat on the drummer's face.

Worn-Tin
Worn-Tin is the project of Santa Monica multi-instrumentalist Warner, who writes and records music in his backyard shed using analog techniques and a simple rule: “If I can’t play it, I can’t lay it.” Blending upbeat melodies with melancholic lyrics, his music explores the darker side of life with a playful sense of humor. His live performances are chaotic, theatrical, and a little circus-like, turning sad songs into a damn good time.
Floats
FLOATS is the project of Mark Perez, started in 2017 in San Antonio, Texas as a way to release demos and songs that didn’t have a place anywhere else. Now based in Los Angeles, the project has grown into a constantly evolving outlet shaped by years of writing, shifting lineups, and nonstop movement. From early releases like Not an Album (2018) and singles like Elbowz and Dancing with Our Feet to later work including Stealing Turf from a Cowboy, Conspiracy Theory, Dead (ft. Flowerbabe), and the self-titled FLOATS album, the sound has continued to stretch - raw, emotional, and rooted in punk energy.
Swede and Skogen
With the release of their Sophomore album 'Bullseye', Swede & Skogen set out to capture the stripped back sound of growing up in a home town known too well. Live sounds of honest, soft rock highlighted by the sounds of 90-'s era folk rock sit in the pocket of a carefully produced home record. Breaking from the structure of a record written for a recording, 'Bullseye' embraces the imperfect, hides a meaning, and beckons for a second listen.

- Where do I park?
Street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood. Please be mindful that people live here and are kind enough to share their neighborhood with us.

- What can I bring inside?
It is strongly encouraged for guests to not bring any bags. The following will be allowed into the venue: small purses, bags and fanny packs that do not exceed 12"x10"x6". Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: coolers, briefcases, backpacks, diaper bags (unless medically necessary), non-approved seat cushions (unless medically necessary), luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera or binocular bags or any bag larger than the permissible size (12"x10"x6")
