Nourish Workshop Series: Tasty Meals Done Cheap
Event description
Farm My School is a not-for-profit organisation that collaborates with schools to promote healthy eating, ecological stewardship and connected communities.
The Farm My School Nourish Workshop Series has been designed to help families unlock affordable ways to grow and cook simple, nourishing food. Run by renowned chefs and our own Farm My School team, these workshops will encourage simple and practical ways to think about food growing, health and wellbeing.
Come and join the Farm My School Nourish workshop: Tasty Meals Done Cheap with Simon Toohey.
Simon Toohey, host of Freshly PickedTV, is an advocate for zero-waste in the kitchen, sustainability and lover of plants.
This is a hands-on cooking workshop that promises a filling and delicious vegetarian meal that you can recreate at home. We'll probably reap a few rewards from the farm for this one.
If you like what you see on the farm, you can order your own Veggie Box here.
Please bring a jar (500/750ml) and another container for transporting food home.
