Digital Navigator Training - November Cohort

This two-day training will set up new digital navigators for success working with clients and their community. Through activities, presentations, research, and roleplay, participants will:

• Learn how their activities as digital navigators support building digital equity in their communities. 

• Practice knowledge management through creating a resource guide to be used with clients and for professional development.

• Develop a core understanding of broadband terms and local internet options.

• Learn about device options, including considerations for accessibility, and research local device options.

• Understand digital skills terminology and best practices and familiarize themselves with existing resources they can use with clients.

• Equip themselves with skills and best practices around assessing client needs and goals and recommending courses of action to address needs holistically.

• Be able to set healthy boundaries with clients and navigate them to other community resources.
