November Women's Gathering Jervis Bay
Description
A slow day of tea, nature, reflection and gentle systemic exploration
For women who are craving a slower, more spacious day in nature to reconnect with themselves, participate in a mindful ceremony, and explore something in their life from a different perspective.
Join me for a small women’s circle on my flower-filled property near Jervis Bay. We will share two practices I love: tea ceremony in the spirit of Cha Dao, and embodied systemic constellation and mapping practices.
We’ll sit in a mindful ceremony in the garden, work with the medicine wheel as a gentle compass, and explore what may be happening beneath the surface of our lives ... and what might be quietly wanting to emerge.
Each person is invited to participate at their own pace. Everything is by invitation. No previous experience with tea ceremony, the medicine wheel, or constellations is needed.
What the day offers:
time away from your usual roles and responsibilities
a calm, held space to listen to yourself
simple practices to help listen and look at situations differently
connection with like-hearted women in nature
My hope is that you leave:
carrying one or two simple seeds of insight they can tend over the coming weeks,
feeling reconnected to their own inner compass,
more grounded in themselves,
and more connected to self, nature, and other women.
If that sounds like something you’d like to feel, there’s a place here for you.
DATE: Sunday 29th November
TIME : 9:00-3:30pm
LOCATION : Falls Creek, Jervis Bay. 2.5 hours from Sydney + Canberra. There is accomodation available.

A small number of community-rate places may be available. If cost is the only thing preventing you from coming, please get in touch.
What to expect on the day
Tea ceremony to arrive
We begin outside, slowing down with tea in the spirit of Cha Dao. The warmth of the bowl, the rhythm of pouring, and time in the natural world can help us settle and arrive together. The medicine wheel as a map
We’ll use the medicine wheel to gently orient to different aspects of life and cycles of change, sensing into where is present and what might be emerging.Individual + Small group embodied mapping
There will be opportunities to explore a question, pattern, or life situation through simple embodied mapping practices. You can bring something personal, or participate as a witness and representative for others.Shared lunch
We will eat lunch together. Please bring a simple plate of food to share.Optional group constellation or shared inquiry
If it feels appropriate for the group, one or two women may choose to explore a personal question through a group constellation. Shared processes can offer learning and resonance for everyone; equally, we may continue in small groups if that better serves the day.Integration and closing
We’ll finish with time to reflect, name what you are taking with you, and gently close the day together.
About the Approaches
What is Tea Ceremony (Cha Dao)?
In this gathering, we share tea in the spirit of Cha Dao, often translated as the “Way of Tea.” It is an Asian tea tradition that approaches preparing and drinking tea as a simple practice of presence, attention, and connection.
We sit together in quiet, unhurried ceremony. The warmth of the bowl, the rhythm of pouring, and the taste of the tea can help the body settle and help us arrive together.
The invitation is simply to experience tea as a gentle companion for the day: an opportunity to pause, be present, and reconnect with yourself, one another, and the natural world.
What are Systemic Constellations?
Systemic constellations are an experiential way of mapping the wider picture around a question, relationship, or pattern in your life. People or objects may represent different parts of a situation, allowing us to notice relationships, dynamics, and perspectives that can be difficult to access through thinking or talking alone.
The process is not about finding “the” answer. It is an invitation to become curious: to notice what feels significant, what may need attention, and whether a different perspective creates more clarity, choice, or movement.
You might bring a question about relationships, work, purpose, a transition, an inner conflict, or something you simply cannot yet put into words. You do not need a major issue, a polished story, or any prior experience.
Who this is for
This circle is for women who feel drawn to slow down, be in nature, and explore themselves in a gentle, experiential way in community.
You may be curious about tea ceremony or constellations. You may be in a season of change, carrying a question, standing at a threshold, or simply wanting a meaningful day away from the usual pace.
The day will likely suit you if you value depth and subtlety, are open to shared silence and embodied practice, and are interested in seeing familiar situations from a different angle.
You do not need to arrive with a “big issue” to work on. You are warmly welcome to come, experience the work, and participate in the way that feels right for you.

About Jax
Jax Wechsler is a trauma-informed facilitator, somatic coach, and lover of nature and tea ceremony. Her work brings together systemic constellations, tea ceremony in the spirit of Cha Dao, and simple body-based practices for people who are navigating uncertainty, change, or transition.
Alongside Aluna Gatherings, Jax teaches people and organisations about trauma-informed practice and nervous system literacy. Across her work, she is interested in slowing down, listening more deeply, and meeting life with clarity and care.
Jax lives on acreage in the Shoalhaven among gum trees, with her musician husband Scott, two kittens, and chickens.
What previous participants have shared
What others have shared about their experience with Women’s Circles
“Just a delightful day on the land with Jax. The tea ceremony was so heart opening and peaceful. It was a beautiful way to open to our day. I had not participated in constellations before and was amazed at how deeply we all benefited from the experience that Jax led us through so gently and competently.”
- Meg
“During one of the constellation processes Jax facilitated, I found myself standing in a place I had perhaps been avoiding for much of my life. There was something in my mother’s lineage asking to be acknowledged—not only the pain, but the absence of knowing.
Seeing her through that lens changed something in me. I was able to soften and feel compassion without denying what was missing. I realised that breaking a generational pattern does not always mean fighting against it; sometimes it means seeing it clearly, feeling the grief of it, and choosing not to carry it any further.
Jax offers a beautiful, safe space for openness and healing.”

- Gina
“A beautifully curated and meditative experience to delight all the senses. I walked away feeling peaceful and alive.”

What others have shared about their experience with Constellations Circles
"My experience of the Systems Constellations event was of being warmly welcomed into a quality of connection and relationship with a group that allowed for a depth of personal exploration and of celebration. I left the session feeling embodied and grounded in my being and delighted from the experience of being closely connected and supported by the community. Thank you."
- Johanna
"The Systemic Constellations workshop was immensely valuable for me. Being able to feel, see and respond to my challenges in the cocoon of the intimate group and trustworthy container they generated has already shifted so much which seemed blocked."
- Robyn
"Wow! What an incredible experience. I went in without any expectations and not really knowing what Systemic Constellations was, only a vague idea based on what I knew about family constellations. I was just really curious. From the first practice, which was a simple paired practice, I was so surprised about how tangible the experience was. When we moved into the larger group constellations, seeing and experiencing how profound they were for us all, whether it was about a system we brought or a system that we were representing a part of. I saw how revelatory this practice is and what it can do for each of us. I will definitely be returning."

FAQs
- Do I have to share anything personal?
No. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as feels right for you on the day. You can simply be present, take part in the practices, and only name what feels comfortable. There will be invitations to reflect and share, but nothing is forced and you can always pass or stay with your own experience quietly.
No, everything is an invitation. We will be doing some individual processes and there is no need to share anything about your experience if you choose not to. We will do 1-2 group processes, were someone will get to describe a situation that they want more clarity about, and she will select some woman to map out the situation and represent the different people or energies. You can let her know that you are not up for being a representative if you like. It's a good experience to be a representative as it can often give us another perspective on something that is often relevant for us. - If I don't get to do a group constellation, will I still get something out if it?
Yes. In constellation work, people almost always receive insight and movement by witnessing and participating in others’ constellations, not only from their own. You’ll also have time in small groups and individual reflection to explore something that is alive for you, so you’re not relying solely on being the “focus” person to benefit from the day.
- What are systemic constellations?
Systemic constellations are a way of exploring the “bigger picture” around a question or pattern in your life by mapping the different parts of the situation in space. We use people or objects to represent elements such as family members, parts of yourself, or key influences. By placing and gently moving these representatives, hidden dynamics and loyalties can become more visible, which can bring new clarity, perspective, and possible next steps.
- What is tea ceremony?
In this gathering, tea ceremony is a simple, mindful way of arriving together. We share tea in the spirit of Cha Dao, the “Way of Tea”, an Asian tradition that treats preparing and drinking tea as a path of presence and connection. We sit in quiet, unhurried ceremony, letting the warmth of the bowl, the rhythm of pouring, and the taste of the tea help our bodies settle so we can meet the rest of the day from a softer, more grounded place.
- Do I need any experience with this kind of work?
No experience is needed. You don’t have to know anything about constellations, tea ceremony, or the medicine wheel. The day is designed as a gentle introduction, with everything explained in simple, accessible language, and you can move at your own pace. Everything is an invitation : )
- Is there accomodation available?
Yes, we have accomodation available on the property for an additional cost. You can see some photos of this in the photo gallery. There is also option to camp if you wanted to make a weekend out of it.
